The reports below were provided by the Quincy Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

May 6 

26QU1081: 8:41 a.m. Graffiti was discovered at the location; the reporting party noticed it about 25 minutes earlier and did not witness the vandalism. 

26QU1082: 11:07 a.m. A report of ongoing in-person harassment involving a short female with long black hair who repeatedly appears at the reporting party’s public location, most recently the previous day. 

26QU1083: 2:12 p.m. A caller reported being in possession of a stray corgi and requested contact regarding the situation. 

26QU1084: 6:29 p.m. A report of a black cat with a white belly, appearing feral and sick, lying on the side of the road. 

May 7 

26QU1085: 11:13 a.m. A vehicle fire was reported. 

26QU1086: 12:56 p.m. A caller reported two abandoned vehicles, a silver Toyota Corolla and a black Honda Civic. 

26QU1087: 1:09 p.m. Officers assisted another agency; the call was transferred and reopened. 

26QU1088: 4:13 p.m. A traffic complaint or hazard was reported and later reopened. 

26QU1089: 4:17 p.m. A traffic complaint or hazard was reported. 

26QU1090: 4:22 p.m. A traffic complaint or hazard was reported and later reopened. 

26QU1091: 4:37 p.m. A shoplifter described as an intoxicated male in his mid-30s wearing a blue shirt and baseball hat was reported. 

26QU1092: 10:27 p.m. A report of a male driving under the influence after leaving a residence. 

May 8 

26QU1094: 4:51 a.m. A commercial burglary alarm was reported. 

26QU1095: 6:06 a.m. A cold burglary/home invasion was reported.

26QU1096: 6:09 a.m. An alarm was reported after a caller drove by and heard it sounding. 

26QU1097: 6:41 a.m. A commercial burglary alarm was reported at the business. 

May 11 

26QU1135: 9:40 a.m. A caller reported hearing yelling, screaming, and possible gunshots coming from a property on a nearby road. 

26QU1134: 9:54 a.m. A suspicious situation was reported involving a Spanish-speaking caller who said someone was recording children and requested immediate assistance. 

26QU1136: Quincy Police Department. 2:19 p.m. An administrative request was made at the police department. 

26QU1137: 4:51 p.m. A report of a male lying in the roadway near railroad tracks, wearing shorts, sandals, and no shirt. 

26QU1138: 8:02 p.m. A 15-year-old girl was reported missing after leaving for school earlier in the day and not returning home. 

May 12 

26QU1139: 3:42 a.m. A commercial burglary alarm was triggered (general expansion alarm zone). 

26QU1140: 6:24 a.m. A caller requested officers ask a neighbor to turn off a sprinkler that was causing an issue. 

May 14 

26QU1159: 8:12 a.m. A transient male was reported sleeping on private property. 

26QU1161: 10:27 a.m. A theft was reported as having just occurred. 

26QU1163: 11:03 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check. 

26QU1162: 11:04 a.m. A firearm theft was reported. 

26QU1164: 4:51 p.m. A caller reported ongoing animal cruelty, stating neighbors were beating a dog and not providing water. 

26QU1165: 5:25 p.m. A roadway hazard was reported involving a female jumping toward vehicles, causing drivers to swerve. 

26QU1166: 5:35 p.m. A suspicious male was reported for yelling at and following a 9-year-old girl, who ran away and hid until he left the area. 

May 15 

26QU1167: 12:44 a.m. A 911 hang-up call was received; address information was obtained through the system. 

26QU1168: 1:15 a.m. A 911 hang-up call was reported, possibly due to phone issues. 

26QU1169: 1:19 a.m. A 911 hang-up call was received. 

26QU1170: 1:19 a.m. A complaint was made about a dog barking continuously for several hours, disturbing residents. 

26QU1171: 3:58 a.m. A large dog attacked a cat; the reporting party chased the dog away. 

May 18 

26QU1191: 3:20 p.m. A report of fraud or deception was made, and the call type was updated during the response. 

26QU1192: 5:06 p.m. A verbal disturbance occurred involving a reporting party attempting to speak with a tenant. 

26QU1193: 7:42 p.m. A dog attempted to attack another dog, and the reporting party intervened to defend their pet. 

26QU1194: 8:14 p.m. A fence was spray-painted sometime during the day, resulting in a damage report. 

26QU1195: 8:27 p.m. A male on a skateboard was reported drinking alcohol in the roadway, behaving aggressively, and causing a disturbance.
