May 11 

26EP1303: Location not listed. 8:43 a.m. A report of a stray dog was received; the caller was advised to contact animal services or post online as the dog was not considered dangerous. 

26EP1306: Location not listed. 9:40 a.m. A report of shots fired led to an investigation; it was determined neighbors had fired at dogs and no crime occurred. 

26EP1309: Location not listed. 3:56 p.m. A non-injury rear-end collision occurred when one driver failed to stop, causing damage to both vehicles. 

26EP1310: 200 block E St NE. 4:04 p.m. Suspicious circumstances were reported involving possible occupants in a location; officers responded to investigate. 

26EP1312: 2100 block Basin St SW. 4:40 p.m. A welfare check was requested for a vehicle parked in the area; officers responded to investigate. 

26EP1314: 10 block Basin St SW. 5:10 p.m. A theft was reported, but the caller was unable to provide sufficient information and disconnected. 

26EP1313: 200 block Parkside Pl. 5:19 p.m. A stray dog complaint was reported involving a loose German Shepherd in the area. 

26EP1315: 200 block E St SW. 9:23 p.m. A behavioral complaint was reported; attempts to contact the reporting party were unsuccessful. 

May 12 

26EP1318: 400 block Division Ave W. 9:43 a.m. A parking problem was reported involving an illegally parked vehicle. 

26EP1319: Location not listed. 11:21 a.m. A reported trailer theft was determined to be a civil dispute after the trailer had been legally rented; no charges were filed. 

26EP1320: 200 block Basin St SW. 1:54 p.m. Three individuals were reported camping on private property and were contacted and trespassed. 

26EP1322: 200 block E St SW. 3:16 p.m. A report involving ongoing behavioral concerns was received. 

26EP1323: 1200 block D St SW. 7:27 p.m. A minor traffic accident occurred when a driver accidentally accelerated into a trailer; no reportable damage was observed. 

26EP1324: 10 block Airport St SE. 7:44 p.m. Suspicious activity was reported involving a vehicle repeatedly circling a business area. 

26EP1325: 300 block J St SE. 9:51 p.m. A two-vehicle collision occurred when a distracted driver struck a parked vehicle; no injuries were reported. 

26EP1326: 300 block Alder St SW. 10:35 p.m. A report of a person sleeping on property was investigated; the property owner allowed the individual to remain. 

May 13 

26EP1327: 200 block Mocliff Rd NW. 3:35 a.m. A noise complaint was reported involving yelling and a window being pushed open; no crime was found after investigation. 

26EP1334: Ephrata High School. 5:21 p.m. A subject was reported in a school parking lot with a gun-like object; it was determined to be a toy, and the subject was warned. 

26EP1335: D St SE. 5:37 p.m. A vehicle prowl occurred within the past two weeks at a construction site; suspects forced entry into a trailer and stole about $3,000 worth of equipment. 

26EP1336: D St SE. 5:54 p.m. A complaint of continuously barking dogs was investigated; the owner was contacted and agreed to address the issue. 

May 14 

26EP1349: Location not listed. 7:12 p.m. A report was made that a person possibly threatened suicide after a breakup; the individual was contacted and denied making the statement or wanting to harm himself. 

26EP1350: C St SW. 8:14 p.m. A parking violation was reported involving a damaged vehicle that had not moved for an extended period; the owner was advised and the vehicle was tagged for removal. 

26EP1351: Ephrata Ave. 8:22 p.m. Officers assisted in locating a missing child who left on a scooter; the child was found and returned home by a family friend. 

26EP1352: Location not listed. 8:31 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance; no crime occurred, but one subject had an outstanding warrant and was arrested. 

26EP1354: E St SE. 10:51 p.m. A juvenile attempted to steal a vehicle; after fleeing, the suspect was located by K9 and taken into custody.

26EP1355: E St SW. 6:09 a.m. A caller reported his father was using a network of people to harm him with voodoo; officer attempted follow-up contact. 

26EP1357: Sheep Canyon Road west of Road B NW. 7:55 a.m. Officers assisted another agency with a possible domestic incident; parties located and turned over to Douglas County deputies. 

26EP1356: Location not listed. 8:06 a.m. A vehicle was blocking a driveway and had a flat tire; driver was contacted and warned to move it. 

26EP1358: 100 block K St NE. 8:36 a.m. Two juveniles were seen on a doorbell camera; they were contacted and advised to go to school. 

26EP1359: 600 block Basin St NW. 9:09 a.m. Theft of garbage overnight; suspects unknown and extra patrols requested. 

26EP1360: Location not listed. 9:30 a.m. An abandoned trailer with a junk boat was left on private property; documentation completed for removal. 

26EP1361: 1000 block Basin St SW. 2:06 p.m. Report of a possible DUI driver; vehicle located with no signs of impairment.

26EP1369: 100 block F St SE. May 16, 2026. 10:49 p.m. Complaint of barking dogs; officers were unable to locate the source. 

26EP1370: 1100 block Basin St SW. May 16, 2026. 11:19 p.m. A suspect stole merchandise and fled in a vehicle; not located. 

May 17 

26EP1371: 1100 block Basin St SW. 2:58 a.m. Attempted theft in a store; suspect left items behind and charges were not requested. 

26EP1372: 200 block E St SW. 5:36 a.m. Report involving behavioral concerns; attempts to contact reporting party were unsuccessful. 

26EP1373: 1800 block Basin St SW. 6:37 a.m. A 911 hang-up was determined to be accidental after phone contact. 

26EP1376: 200 block E St SW. 11:52 a.m. Follow-up mental health-related complaint; unable to reach reporting party. 

26EP1374: 1200 block A St SE. 11:58 a.m. Officers assisted Child Protective Services; another agency handled the contact. 

26EP1375: 5th Ave SW and D St SW area. 12:18 p.m. Driver found slumped over; probable DUI established and vehicle towed. 

26EP1377: 100 block Orchard Ave SE. 12:33 p.m. Welfare check conducted; subject confirmed safe. 

26EP1378: 700 block Basin St NW. 2:18 p.m. Report of stolen wallet; suspect identified and wallet returned.
