4-acre blaze mostly contained in rural Ephrata

EPHRATA — Three fire agencies were called to a wildfire in the 13000 block of Road A.5 Northwest in Rural Ephrata at around 11 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. 

“They got it under control, and conditions are favorable for maintaining control,” GCSO Public Information Officer Kyle Foreman said.  

Responding agencies include Grant County Fire District 13, Grant County Fire District 7 and Ephrata Fire Department. There are no evacuations in place as of 12 p.m. Tuesday. There are no expected travel impacts, according to Foreman.  

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
