Brush fire closes Hwy 24

OTHELLO — A large brush fire has broken out along Highway 24 near Hendrix Road south of Othello. The area was blocked off around 8:30 p.m. while fire crews work to put out the flames.
The roadway reopened at around 1 a.m., but units from Grant County Fire District 8 were dispatched once again as the fire started back up again Monday morning.
