MOSES LAKE — Washington State Patrol Bomb Squad was called to a suspicious package in the 1700 block of Road K-Southeast in rural Moses Lake at 11 a.m. Saturday, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

However, after WSP arrived they discovered it was a RC battery, according to GCSO Public Information Officer Kyle Foreman. RC batteries are used for remote-controlled vehicles.

“No device, all clear,” he said.

The device poses no threat to the public, surrounding homes and will not cause any traffic delays, according to GCSO. All units have left the scene as of 12 p.m. Saturday, according to GCSO.
