NOTICE: ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION Permit No.: ST0008063 Applicant: Port of Moses Lake Facility: 7810 Andrews Street, NE, Suite 200 Moses Lake, Washington 98837 The Port of Moses Lake (Port) has applied for renewal of its State Waste Discharge Permit (SWDP) in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-216 Washington Administrative Code (WAC). Ecology accepted the application as complete on February 26, 2018. The Port owns and operates an industrial wastewater collection and treatment system that collects process wastewater from several industrial users, stores the wastewater in a series of three lined ponds and seasonally applies wastewater to a 248-acre land treatment system from March 1 to November 1. The facility is designed for an average monthly design flow of 400,000 gallons per day (gpd) and a maximum daily flow of 900,000 gpd. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued. The Department of Ecology is proposing to renew the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent.
