Space Burger booth open March 13-15
MOSES LAKE — Those who can’t wait for the Grant County Fair can get their Space Burger fix next weekend, according to an announcement from the Lioness Club of Moses Lake.
The iconic Grant County sandwiches will be available at the Grant County Fairgrounds on March 13-15, according to the announcement. There is no admission fee to get into the fairgrounds that weekend.
Nearly 5,000 Space Burgers were sold last March, according to the Lioness Club’s social media. Space Burgers are made with seasoned ground beef, lettuce and a special sauce, in a toasted bread shell that resembles a flying saucer.
The purchase of Space Burgers supports local non-profits and organizations, the Lioness Club wrote. Every dollar helps local organizations in our community. Since 1964, the Lioness Lions Club of Moses Lake has given back over $1 million to the Moses Lake Community.
Volunteers are needed to help operate the booth. To contact the Lioness Lions Club of Moses Lake, write to P.O. Box 21, Moses Lake, Washington 98837 or contact them on the Lioness Club of Moses Lake or the Space Burgers social media.
