Suspects sought in Lind assault

LIND — The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a Lind man suspected of involvement in an assault Sunday afternoon in Lind. The ACSO also is looking for a woman in an effort to determine her involvement.  

Gage Remington, 23, is being sought in connection with a case of first-degree assault, according to a release from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.  

“The victim of the assault was treated at the scene by an off-duty firefighter, a good Samaritan and later airlifted to a medical center for emergency treatment,” Adams County Sheriff Dale Wagner wrote in the release.  

Deputies also are looking for Felicia Remington, 44. She is being sought to determine her potential involvement, Wagner said. 

“Investigators believe Felicia Remington is known to frequent the Spokane and Northern Idaho areas. Anyone in those areas who may have knowledge of her whereabouts is encouraged to contact law enforcement,” Wagner said.  Remington was last seen wearing camouflage clothing, Wagner said. Anyone who sees him is asked to contact ACSO, 509-659-1122.
