Jill Newhouse

| June 18, 2026 10:28 AM

Jill Newhouse passed away peacefully at home on June 10, surrounded by the love of her children, granddaughter and a close friend.

Jill was born on March 28 in Deadwood, South Dakota, to Jackalea and Eldon Ingram. In 1955, her family moved to Moses Lake, Washington, where she grew up, attended school and built a beautiful life. Jill was a vibrant and independent soul who loved her family fiercely and truly lived life on her own terms. She filled the world with music, sharing her beautiful voice with everyone around her, and she loved nothing more than to sing and dance.

A pillar of health and kindness in Moses Lake, Jill touched countless lives as the owner of the Health Pantry. She had a deeply compassionate heart and a true passion for making people feel better. Jill never met a stranger; to her, they were simply friends she hadn't met yet. Her legacy of helping others will always be remembered.

Jill is reunited in death with her beloved husband and partner of 42 years Jim Newhouse, her brothers Larry and Jack Inghram, her sister Donna Gardner and her parents.

Her bright spirit lives on through her children Jackie Kaufmann (Greg Kaufmann) and Jamie Donley, and her six cherished grandchildren, all of whom will miss her deeply.

A celebration of Jill’s life will be held at a later date.
