MLPD serves two warrants in firearms, narcotics investigation

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team, alongside the Moses Lake Street Crimes Team and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, Firearms and Explosives executed two search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation involving illegal firearms and narcotics.  

The first warrant was served in a rural property in Grant County near Road 10 NE and Road N.4 NE. A small amount of marijuana was found, according to a statement from Moses Lake Police Department.  

A secondary warrant was executed at a residence in the 2100 block of Beaumont Drive in Moses Lake, according to MLPD. At this residence, detectives recovered three firearms and a small amount of methamphetamine. Several subjects were also detained at this location. However, the primary suspect identified in the investigation was not located at either property.  

The investigation remains active and ongoing, according to MLPD. At this time there is no further information that can be provided to the public according to the department’s statement.
