Rumor of threat against Endeavor Middle School unfounded
A Moses Lake Police Department investigation determined that rumors of a possible threat against Endeavor Middle School was unfounded.

MOSES LAKE — Rumors of a threat against Endeavor Middle School were determined to be unfounded, according to the Moses Lake Police Department.
“(Officers) ran it down and it was unfounded,” said MLPD Captain Jeff Sursely.
Ryan Shannon, MLSD director of public relations, said the rumors surfaced on social media of a threat against EMS, but there were no specific details. Endeavor is operating on a normal schedule, he said.
The district has a reporting system, Shannon said, and he urged people to use it.
“Reports can be made directly to the school,” he said.
People can access the reporting system under the “Stop It” tab on the homepage on the MLSD website, he said.
