Multiple injuries in boat, personal watercraft collision on Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — Several people sustained injuries Sunday when a boat and a personal watercraft collided in the Laguna area of Moses Lake, according to a press release from Moses Lake city officials. 

“Eight individuals were transported to the local hospital for further evaluation. Three patients involved in the collision sustained significant injuries,” the city press release said.

Two of the injured were airlifted to out-of-area hospitals, one to Spokane, one to Seattle, according to information from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. 

The Moses Lake Fire Department and Moses Lake Police Department were assisted by crews from Grant County Fire District 5 and Lifeline Ambulance.
