WARDEN — A Warden man was arrested on suspicion of burglary after Warden Police Department officers allegedly found him inside an empty residence.

Miguel M. Ramirez, 38, was booked on one count of residential burglary, according to Grant County Jail records. Warden Police Chief Jeff Gann said the arrest followed the report of suspicious activity around an empty house at about 11 a.m. Friday.

“Officers arrived and determined there was someone in the house,” Gann wrote in a release. “The subject attempted to flee but was located and taken into custody. Warden officers checked the residence with the assistance of Grant County Sheriff’s deputies, but no other suspects were located inside.”

As of Saturday afternoon, Ramirez was still listed on the Grant County Jail roster, facing one residential burglary charge with no bail set.
