Subject arrested for vehicle theft, outstanding warrant
WARDEN — On Saturday night, the Warden Police Department was able to recover a stolen vehicle with one subject arrested, according to a WPD statement. At around 1 p.m., the department was called to a residence in the 900 block of South Washington Street for an unrelated incident.
While on scene, officers saw a gold Ford Ranger on the property and ran a routine records check. The truck was determined to be stolen, according to Warden PD. Officers were able to determine that the female in the residence, later identified as Lori Ann Gonzalez, 49, of Othello, was the one in possession of the stolen vehicle. At the time, the female subject did not cooperate with law enforcement. She would only identify herself as “LaLa.”
Warden PD arrested the subject on numerous charges and transported her to Grant County Jail.
According to the Grant County Jail Roster, Gonzalez was booked for an out-of-county warrant, making false or misleading statements to a public servant, obstructing a law enforcement officer and possession of a stolen vehicle. According to Warden PD, the out-of-county warrant is a federal felony arrest warrant from the United States Marshals Service for a narcotics violation.
As of Monday morning, Gonzalez does not have bail set.
