Janice E. Sandberg

Janice E. Sandberg, of Moses Lake, Wash., was born Feb. 5, 1935, and passed away Jan. 4, 2026, at the age of 90. 

Janice was born in Herrick, S.D., shortly after her family moved to the Northwest, Everett, Wash. She met and subsequently married her husband, Ken Sandberg, at Eugene Bible College. They married in 1953 and moved to Moses Lake in 1956. They were involved in community and church activities while raising all seven children in Moses Lake. Her sister, Marilyn Hallberg, and her brother, Gary Trautman, also moved to and raised their families in Moses Lake. 

Janice is survived by her husband, Ken Sandberg, her children, Karen Wilson, Michael Sandberg, Denece Allsbrook, Stephen Sandberg, Brenda Tampien, Joel Sandberg and Julee Walker, 30 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed! 

Memorial service will be held Jan. 31 at 1 p.m. in the gymnasium of The Church in Moses Lake, located at 6378 Arnold Drive NE, Moses Lake. WA.
