CITY OF QUINCY QUINCY, WASHINGTON SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 26-644 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN AN UNINCORPORATED AREA COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE “AMJ ANNEXATION”; PROVIDING FOR THE ASSUMPTION OF EXISTING INDEBTEDNESS RELATED TO THE ANNEXED PROPERTY; ADOPTING THE ZONING DESIGNATION FOR THE ANNEXED PROPERTY; AND FIXING A DATE WHEN THE ANNEXATION SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. Lodging Tax Advisory Committee Vacancy The Moses Lake City Council is currently seeking to fill one vacancy on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. This role is designated for a representative from a business obligated to collect lodging tax. The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the City Council for the approval of funding requests for activities promoting tourism. Meetings are held as needed starting in the month of September each year. The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee is composed of five members. One shall be an elected official of the City who shall serve as chair, two shall be representatives of businesses required to collect the lodging tax, and two members shall be persons involved in activities authorized to be funded by revenue received from the Lodging Tax. The term for all LTAC positions are for the period January 1 to December 31 and will be considered for reappointment upon request.
