Mindy Lanette (Jones) Collins

Mindy Lanette (Jones) Collins, 41, of Crestview, Fla., passed peacefully at home Dec. 22, 2025.

Mindy was born Feb. 15, 1984, in Moses Lake, Wash., and lived in Washington, Oklahoma, Idaho, England and Florida. Wherever she lived, she brought warmth, laughter and connection. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas and Maxine Sear, and Tren and Margaret Jones, her uncle, Michael Sear, and her beloved son, Miles Collins.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Aaron Collins; her cherished daughters, Maizlie and Kylie Collins; her parents, Spencer Jones and Danita Tebow; and her siblings, Sharla Jones, Jonathan Jones, Cherie McArthur and Ryan Jones, along with extended family and many friends.

Mindy valued family above all else, with her daughters always coming first. She was so much fun to be around, known for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh and the joy she brought into every room. She had a compassionate and loving heart and was deeply drawn to caregiving and teaching. Mindy loved music, animals, gardening, nature, and caring for others, always giving of herself freely.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she shared and the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
