Grant Co. legislators pre-file legislation
Rep. Tom Dent, alongside three other representatives, filed House Bill 2104, which would extend aerial support for wildfires indefinitely. The bill previously passed the legislature with a sunset clause which expires in 2027. Sen. Judy Warnick has also filed a bill examining how wildfire models impact insurance.

Alex Ybarra has not filed any bills, but has said in prior coverage that energy is a priority for the session that begins Jan. 12 and ends March 12.
