Cougars qualify for state competition

EAST WENATCHEE — The Warden Cougars made a strong push in the district tournament, beating Tonasket 72-68 and Goldendale 53-50 last weekend to qualify for state. After falling to Liberty Bell 67-47 on Saturday afternoon, the Cougars finished sixth in District 5 as they prepare for their first game of state competition.
