NCESD board position open for candidates

WENATCHEE — The North Central Educational Service District has an opening for Board Position No. 5. The position represents a portion of Moses Lake. According to a statement from NCESD, Mary Kunkle resigned from the seat, creating an opening.
To be eligible to serve in this particular seat, the applicants must reside in the Moses Lake School District.
The board is made up of seven regionally elected members representing Grant, Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties. Candidates must be citizens of the United States, be registered voter and reside within the boundaries of the board member district. Candidates may not be a school district employee, member of a school board, or on the State Board of Education.
