CWAC releases its preseason coaches poll

In addition to being ranked fifth in the Central Washington Athletic Conferences preseason coaches poll, the Ephrata Tigers also earned a first place vote.

MOSES LAKE — The Central Washington Athletic Conference released its preseason coaches' poll, which ranks all CWAC teams and is voted on by the coaches. The Othello Huskies were ranked fourth just ahead of the Ephrata Tigers, which earned fifth and a single first place vote. The Quincy Jacks were ranked ninth just behind the Grandview Greyhounds.
These rankings were released just ahead of the 2026 season which kicks off on Friday, Sep 4. The Huskies host the Ellensburg Bulldogs, while the Tigers host the Selah Vikings and the Jacks host the Prosser Mustangs. All games are set to start at 7 p.m.
