Moses Lake man dies in Dodson Road collision

ROYAL CITY — A Moses Lake man was killed in a head-on collision near Royal City Tuesday afternoon. 

Patrick Champion, 47, died at the scene of the collision on Dodson Road South, said Kyle Foreman, public information officer from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, in a media release. Champion was driving south on Dodson Road Southwest when he crossed the center line and hit a car driven by Aram Garnick, 21, of Royal City. 

Garnick was injured and was transported to Othello Community Hospital for treatment, Foreman said.
