Martinez, Thompson advance in tight 13th District State House race
Legislative District 13 House Candidate Deanna Martinez is the current frontrunner going into the general election. Martinez garnered 9,687 votes as of preliminary election results.

Legislative District 13 House Candidate Joshua Thompson is set to go to the November General Election with the second most votes at 8,886, according to preliminary election results.
OLYMPIA — Deanna Martinez and Joshua Thompson will advance to the general election for Washington's 13th Legislative District Position 2 seat after emerging as the top two vote-getters in a three-way Republican primary. The seat was formerly held by Alex Ybarra, who is running for state senate during this election.
