Soap Lake Councilmember Gorman (middle) resigned during closing comments at the Wednesday night meeting. She said personal needs caused her to resign, but she hopes someone who is a “good problem solver” considers stepping in to fill the vacancy.

SOAP LAKE — Soap Lake City Councilmember Judith Gorman resigned at the end of the Aug. 5 regular council meeting during closing comments, leaving a vacancy on the council of five.
