Richard ‘Dick’ Millard
Richard "Dick" Millard, 92, passed away suddenly on April 19, 2026, at home in Moses Lake, Washington.
Richard was born on Dec. 9, 1933, in Brigham, Utah to Anna Harriett Hansen and David Saunders Millard. Richard was the third-oldest of 11 children. He married Phyllis Jean Roland on July 17, 1954. He later remarried to Linda Lou Millard on April 1, 1983. Richard stopped pursuing education in the ninth grade and started working. Over the years, he worked for farmers at an early age, sacked potatoes, ran a service station, farmed, and broke horses. Richard was drafted during the Korean War and served three years in the U.S. Army.
Richard leaves behind his wife Linda Millard; three children Shaunna Casch, Mark Millard and Harold Rhodes; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings Dallas, Ellis, Stan, Larry, Royce and Marvin; and his horse Rock.
Richard was preceded in death by his first wife Phyllis Millard, parents Anna and David, daughter Julia Kay Millard and siblings Edwin, Bonita, Druzilla and Joyce.
