Bruce Elby Belisle

Bruce Elby Belisle was born in Portland, Oregon, the son of Virgil H. Belisle and Willie B. (Hall) Belisle. Bruce was preceded in death by both his parents and younger brother, Steven L. Belisle. He is survived by his sister Frances Mathenia and brother Paul Belisle; his ex-wife Jackie and their four children Stacy, Michelle, Jacob and Shannon; several grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

Bruce attended Moses Lake High School. He excelled in a variety of sports: wrestling, baseball, and football. He was voted most athletic of his class, 1965. Outside of school, he participated in rodeos, riding bucking horses and even trying his hand at bulls.

Bruce served his country honorably. He served three years in the Army, one in Germany and two in Vietnam where he was a crew chief and helicopter gunner.

He settled in Tyler/Cheney, Washington where he lived for the last 30 years. He was active in the local VA chapter and made many good friends in their weekly poker games. Bruce was known for his knowledge and wit.
