Basin sports see cancellations from rain
The Moses Lake Mavericks varsity dugout will sit empty Wednesday afternoon as heavy rainfall has postponed their game against the Othello Huskies. The two teams are set to meet at a later date.

COLUMBIA BASIN — The heavy rainfall that moved across the state had a direct effect on spring sports Wednesday as multiple matchups had to be cancelled or rescheduled for a later date. Below is a list of games that have been affected and their new dates along with other schedule changes.
