Public Notice Public Utility District No. 2 Grant County, Washington (Grant PUD) P.O. Box 878 Ephrata, WA 98823 is seeking modification of coverage under the Washington Department of Ecology, Aquatic Plant and Algae Management General Permit for the water body known as, The Columbia River located in Grant County. Activities requiring permit modification include This modification would expand the authorized treatment areas. Grant PUD is currently approved to treat at multiple locations and is requesting an increase in treatment acreage as follows: an additional 1.1 acres at Crescent Bar to include the boat channel, and an additional 0.4 acres at Vantage. In addition, the modification includes expanding treatment to cover two additional acres at Crescent Bar, specifically at Riverbend Beach. Any person desiring to present their views to the Department of Ecology regarding this application may do so in writing within thirty days of the last date of publication of this notice. Comments shall be submitted to the Department of Ecology. Any person interested in the Department’s action on this application may notify the Department of their interest within thirty days of the last date of publication of this notice.
