Ephrata Police Department logs for March 27-30

The reports below were provided by the Ephrata Police Department. All suspects listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.  

March 27 

26EP0748 - 06:02. 200 block of C Street SE involved a nuisance complaint regarding loud noise from a yellow truck that led to a verbal argument.
26EP0749 - 09:42. Walmart, 1399 North Washington Way involved an internal theft where an employee admitted to stealing and was charged by report.
26EP0750 - 11:46. NL involved a verbal disturbance caused by an employee’s sister. a workplace, with threats made and documentation requested.
26EP0752 - 13:21. Near Pioneer Avenue and Lee Street involved a warrant arrest where the suspect fled, was later found hiding, and booked for the warrant and obstructing.
26EP0753 - 14:32 Basin Street SW Verbal disturbance with reported erratic behavior; a subject with warrants was booked and mental health services contacted.
26EP0755 - 18:31. Road 10.5 NW, Quincy involved a custodial interference report requested for documentation related to visitation.
26EP0756 - 19:10. NL involved a domestic disturbance over an ex-girlfriend retaining a tablet, with no further action taken.
26EP0757 - 21:56. NL Burglary involving a large amount of cash reported stolen. 

March 28 

26EP0758 - 09:48. Knights Inn, 31 Basin Street SW involved a trespassing complaint that was determined to be unfounded.
26EP0759 - 13:10. NL involved a harassment report. Walmart where a customer made a threatening comment toward a cashier.
26EP0760 - 13:24 on the 10 block of F Street NE involved a suspicious call regarding a no-contact order violation, with evidence provided but the suspect not located.
26EP0761 - 14:49. a roundabout in Moses Lake involved a traffic complaint related to a protest, with no issues observed upon arrival.
26EP0763 - 15:21 on the 200 block of F Street NE involved an administrative complaint about daily burning, though no issue was observed. the time.
26EP0764 - 17:49 on the 100 block of H Street SE involved reports of a nuisance property with ongoing trespassing concerns, forwarded to code enforcement. 

March 29 

26EP0765 - 06:02 on the 200 block of North Washington Way involved a noise disturbance from loud music in a vehicle, resulting in a warning.
26EP0766 - 07:41 on the 200 block of E Street SW involved a suspicious person call with unusual claims, and no crime was identified.
26EP0767 - 13:49. NL involved a theft incident where a suspect failed to scan items and was charged by report.
26EP0768 - 15:03 on the 200 block of Basin Street SW involved a cold burglary with forced entry and cash stolen.
26EP0769 - 17:22 on Basin Street SW involved a physical disturbance with a juvenile in crisis, resolved with family contact and mental health response.
26EP0770 - 19:11 on the 100 block of D Street NW involved a custodial dispute that was later resolved without enforcement action.
26EP0771 - 20:04. McDonald’s, 1010 Basin Street SW involved a welfare check on a juvenile who was later returned to family.
26EP0772 - 20:06 on the 1300 block of North Washington Way involved a theft by a previously trespassed subject who left before officers arrived.
26EP0773 - 20:55. NL involved a verbal domestic dispute with a juvenile that resolved without violence.
26EP0774 - 20:56. NL involved a trespassing complaint where the subject was gone upon arrival and charges were requested. 

March 30 

26EP0777 - 09:43. 100 block of E Street SE involved an animal complaint where a dog was stuck in a backyard, the gate was opened, and the dog ran off.
26EP0781 - 12:02. 2100 block Basin Street SW involved a cold burglary reported secondhand, where a residence was burglarized over the weekend.
26EP0783 - 13:34. Ephrata High School, 333 4th Avenue NW involved a runaway report after a student left school; the student later made it home safely.
26EP0786 - 16:50. Near overpass at Highway 282 and Basin Street SW. Stalled semi-truck that ran out of diesel, with officers assisting traffic control until it was towed.
26EP0788 - 18:25. 200 block of A Street NE involved a burglary of a storage unit where entry was made but nothing was taken; a neighboring unit was also entered with no loss.
26EP0790 - 20:04. 100 block of Division Avenue East involved a welfare check on an agitated subject who was cut off at a bar, left on foot, and was later located with no crime.
26EP0791 - 22:46. 19000 block of A.5 NE involved a trespassing complaint where the subject left, was later stopped, cleared of DUI, and arrested for fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
