Body found in Moses Lake
Grant County Sheriff's Office investigators are looking into a body that was found in the water in the Moses Lake area.

MOSES LAKE — At around 12 p.m. Grant County Sheriff's Office received a call that a body had been found by a fisherman in Moses Lake - the body of water - near the 7000 block of Dune Lake Road.
Sheriff’s deputies are on scene working to recover the subject's boat. The body has been recovered and is in the care of Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison. The subject's name is not being released to the public until the next of kin is notified, GCSO Public Information Officer Kyle Foreman said.
An autopsy will be conducted next week.
There is no threat to the public. Investigating deputies said they believe there was no foul play, according to Foreman. However, the autopsy will be needed to confirm this information.
There will be no more updates today. Further information will be released to the public tomorrow, according to Foreman.
Investigators ask that area residents stay away from the area so that they can work.
