Early morning search warrant served in Quincy
QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department is asking for the public’s help in an investigation that so far has resulted in the execution of a search warrant in the 100 block of L Street Southwest. Officers from QPD, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol and Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) searched the house at about 5 a.m. Friday.
Quincy Police Chief Ryan Green said it’s the result of an ongoing investigation of activity in that section of L Street Southwest.
“It’s a known issue in that neighborhood,” Green said.
Law enforcement officers were looking for illegal substances, firearms and related contraband, according to a QPD release.
“At this time, no arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains active and ongoing,” the release said.
The QPD is asking for people with information on the case to contact Detective Damon Powell, 509-787-222, or 509-762-1160. Callers should reference case 25QU3062.
