Patricia "Pat" Ledbetter

| September 17, 2025 2:09 PM

Patricia "Pat" Ann Ledbetter, age 84, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, in Moses Lake, Wash.

She was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Elgin, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Phyllis (DeGaris) Gerber.

Pat married the love of her life, David Ledbetter, on Feb. 19, 1962, just two months after their first date. They were married 58 years. They were devoted Catholics and while they lived in Illinois, Arkansas and California at various times, they always came back to Moses Lake and the community at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Pat and David did not have any children of their own; however, they gave unconditional love as foster care parents to several children. They set amazing examples of faith and love to all that knew them.

She is survived by her brother, Alfred Gerber of Florida; five nieces and one nephew and their families. She was greatly loved by her foster daughter, Julia Murphy of Oregon, and her family.

She was blessed to have a close friend in Scott Schwab of Moses Lake, who was there for her until the end. There are many friends who loved her and will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, David, who passed away in 2020; and her sister, Charlotte Miller.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Road, Moses Lake, on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, with Rosary at 10:00 a.m. followed by Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the church columbarium. A lunch will be held after at the church to share memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Building Fund, 200 N. Dale Road, Moses Lake, WA 98837 would be greatly appreciated.
