Shots fired suspect in Moses Lake turns himself in

MOSES LAKE – On the evening of Sept. 6, it was reported that shots were fired at 1842 West Broadway Ave., according to the Moses Lake Police Department.  

Upon arrival, police officers determined a physical altercation had happened and during the fight, one of the individuals produced a firearm and discharged several shots. One 30-year-old male was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the foot.  

On Sept. 9, Rafael Cordova Ramirez, 21, of Moses Lake, turned himself in to MLPD. The Moses Lake Major Crimes Detectives arrested Ramariz without incident. Ramirez faces one charge of Assault in the First Degree and was being held without bail in the Grant County Jail as of Saturday. 

There are no other suspects in the shooting, MLPD reports. However, this is still an ongoing investigation.
