CALL FOR BIDS CITY OF MATTAWA SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $1,975,000.00 Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Mattawa, 521 East Government Road, Mattawa, Washington 99349 up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Sewer System Improvements. The work specified in this Section consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the Sewer System Improvements, as shown on the Contract Plans. Work will be performed within City owned rights-of-way or easements that have been obtained for construction. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Furnish and install approximately 5,200 feet of 12-inch PVC sanitary sewer pipe by open cut methods including crossing SR 243, furnish and install approximately 220 feet of 20-inch steel water main casing crossing SR 243 by open cut methods, furnish and install 15 manholes, abandon existing lift station and salvage equipment to the City, provide television inspection of sewer mains and surface restoration of all disturbed surfaces. The Work shall be substantially complete within 80 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Mattawa, Washington.
