COLUMBIA BASIN — As we move out of the spooky season and into the holidays, here are a few things to check out this month.

Oct. 31-Nov. 2

‘Little Shop of Horrors’

The Masquers Theater presents the dark musical comedy by Disney veterans Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Seymour Krelborn is a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush at the shop. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth and an unquenchable thirst for human blood. 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays at Masquers Theater, 322 W. Spooky Movie Night

St. Rose of Lima Trunk-or-Treat

Trunk or Treat

Wahitis PTO Trunk-or-Treat

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Trunk-or-Treat

Have a safe space for your children to trick or treat. Decorate your car, if you like, and bring some wrapped treats to pass out to the children. Free Halloween Movie Night

Moravida Festival

Moravida Festival is a vibrant celebration of life inspired by the rich traditions of Dia de los Muertos. There will be family-friendly activities, live entertainment, engaging children’s crafts, diverse food vendors, and much more. St. Martin’s Holiday Bazaar

Men on Target — God, Guys & Guns Ministry

Piper Barn Show

Introduction to the Indigenous Art Form of Beading

Local indigenous artist Amanda Keewatinawin will host a workshop on the indigenous art form of beading and how to create your own beaded fringe earrings. Ukulele Jams

Ukulele jams allow you to learn or practice playing simple chords while singing along with instructor Jennifer McCarthy and other participants. Bring your instrument and desire to make music to the museum once a month and enjoy the benefits of singing and playing in a group. Don’t have a ukulele? ‘Mamma Mia!’

Set on a sunny Greek island, “Mamma Mia!” tells the story of Sophie, a young bride-to-be who secretly invites three men from her mother Donna’s past in hopes of discovering which one is her father. As the big day approaches, the past and present collide in this heartwarming and hilarious tale of love, friendship, and self-discovery — all set to the timeless hits of ABBA. Turkey Bingo
