Two injured Sunday in Mattawa collision

MATTAWA — A Mattawa woman was transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland Sunday afternoon after the car she was driving was hit by another car about 5 miles south of Mattawa.  

Lisli Gonzalaz Garcia, 23, was driving north on State Route 243 at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday when a car driven by Daniel Tlatenchi-Garcia, 18, Mattawa, crossed the centerline and ran into her, according to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol. Tlatenchi-Garcia was also transported to KRMC.  

Possible charges against Tlatenchi-Garcia are still under investigation, the WSP memo said.
