Ephrata PD returning to new blotter system
Last Halloween, a couple of Ephrata Police Department officers posed for a photo with a handful of young residents. The department is planning on handing out candy during the Ephrata Chamber of Commerce’s Trick or Treat event. EPD is looking for candy donations, which can be dropped off to the police department office.

EPHRATA – The Ephrata Police Department is unable to export a police blotter, according to EPD Records Manager Elizabeth Judkins.
“We are back in our new law enforcement database system, and currently, we cannot provide a blotter. Hopefully, we will be able to provide the blotter soon,” Judkins wrote in an email to the Columbia Basin Herald.
The department, as soon as it is able, said it would return to sending out the information.
