Clifford Duane Teslow

| October 9, 2025 1:11 PM

Clifford Duane Teslow, 90, passed away peacefully at home Sept. 30, 2025, surrounded by family.

Cliff was born Sept. 14, 1935, in Grand Coulee, Wash., to Ed and Jennie Teslow (Olson). Cliff was one of six siblings.

Clifford graduated from high school in 1954. Later that same year, he eloped with Sandra Diane Hardman, and they remained married for nearly 71 years, until his passing. Cliff and Sandy raised four sons, Rick, Eddie, Gary and Michael. Eddie was lost to leukemia in 1969 at the age of ten.

Clifford served a pipefitter’s apprenticeship and spent his career in the construction industry working all over the northwest.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Jennie, his son Eddie and four of his six siblings, Mildred, Robert, Verna and Gladys. His older sister, Elsie lives in Coulee Dam with her daughter.

Cliff was a very lucky man. He was diagnosed with Leukemia in early 2000 and later that same year, it was discovered that he had a failing mitral valve. He beat both conditions and stuck around for 25 years to help with great-grandkids, who, thanks to him and his wife Sandra, never spent a minute in daycare. He was also around long enough to meet his great-great-grandson, Colton.

He will be greatly missed by his family. He was the family historian and knew more about both sides of the family than anyone else. We have no idea how we are going to identify who is in all those old pictures.
