Torilynne Hinshaw

Torilynne Marie Hinshaw was called home to Heaven on Sept. 7 at the young age of 18. She suddenly and peacefully passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash.

Torilynne was born April 17, 2007, to her parents Carey and Heather Hinshaw. She was born in Spokane, but lived her short precious life in Moses Lake. Torilynne also leaves behind her two big brothers, Zach and Logan. Both fiercely loved and protected her. In addition, she also leaves behind her Nana and Grandpa and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Torilynne was a beautiful girl who stood out everywhere she went, with her long brown hair and big brown eyes.

Torilynne faced many obstacles in her life. She was born with spina bifida, but was able to overcome and adapt to anything with the help of a walker and special braces; she was able to walk and live a very active and happy life.

Torilynne was an exceptionally strong and brave girl. Even with all of her medical challenges, she never backed down from any of it. Her determination and wonderful stubbornness always outweighed it all. She was the bravest and toughest girl you would ever know. Torilynne was very well known in the school district. She had just finished high school and was very excited to start her next journey at Vanguard Academy. She had many interests and hobbies. Torilynne enjoyed diamond art, painting, making bracelets, taking care of animals, getting her nails done, glam makeup and collecting silly earrings. She was also a big country music fan; Morgan Wallen was her favorite. She loved scary movies, “The Addams Family” and “Beetlejuice.” She loved her family and was always out with her mom either shopping or getting coffee or Red Bulls.

Torilynne's passing has left a hole and emptiness in our hearts.

Simply said, to know her was to love her. Life will never be the same. Rest in peace our angel. Until we see you again in heaven!
