COLUMBIA BASIN – September in the Columbia Basin was filled with events, new businesses and athletes excelling in their sports.

Farmer Consumer Awareness Day in Quincy returned for its 43rd year, UMANI festival celebrated with bringing back lucha wrestling for the second year in a row and the Up Town Gallery has one of its first local exhibitions since opening in July.

Looking toward October, the weather is getting cooler; the community is preparing for pumpkin carving and sweater season; and football and volleyball seasons are in full swing.
