150-acre fire burns near SR 17
Firefighters from seven fire departments responded to a wildfire at the south end of Lake Lenore three miles north of Soap Lake Monday afternoon.

SOAP LAKE — At around 2 p.m., firefighters were called to a brush fire around milepost 81 on State Route 17 at the south end of Lake Lenore.
