MLSD reaches agreement with Principals Association
MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake School District and the Moses Lake Principals Association announced a tentative agreement on a new contract. The Moses Lake School Board will have to formally approve the contract.
“We appreciate the dedication and professionalism of our building administrators and the collaborative approach taken throughout this process,” Superintendent Carol Lewis said in a statement.
This is one of two contracts the district was negotiating, according to MLSD Director of Public Relations Ryan Shannon. Now, the district is only in negotiations with the Moses Lake Educators Association.
The board is expected to review and consider approval of the agreement at the Dec. 4 regular school board meeting.
“This agreement is financially responsible and within the board-approved budget. It reflects our joint commitment to serving students, supporting staff, and ensuring our schools remain strong, stable and focused on learning,” Lewis said.
