Katherine D. Waters (Turk)
Katherine Waters passed away November 18 and leaves behind a family who love her greatly.
Katherine was born Oct. 28, 1955, to Ivan and Agnes Waters in Sapulpa, Okla. She passed away Nov. 18, 2025.
She grew up in Moses Lake, Wash. And after graduating from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Ariz., she was self-employed as an accountant and business consultant.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, volunteering and cooking. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends and lending an ear. Katherine was a member of the Othello First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one sister, Coral Adolphsen; two brothers, Gale and David Smith; two nieces, Angie Friedbauer and Darcie (Lance) Pope; two nephews, Boe Adolphsen (Teresa Vasquez) and Aaron Smith; and six great-nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents, parents and her two canines, Barney and Bailey.
Services to honor Katherine will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 12, 2025, at Othello First Presbyterian Church, located at 715 E. Scooteny St. in Othello, Wash. Refreshments to follow.
