Tigers XC runners find success at state
A prerace huddle between runners from Ephrata, East Valley, Prosser and Toppenish at the state meet. Tigers Head Coach Lyndsy Roberts said there was a strong showing of CWAC teams at the state meet which highlighted the strength of the league this season.

Niko Diaz, a sophomore for Ephrata, finished the course with a time of 17:07.2. Tigers Head Coach Lyndsy Roberts said the boys all pushed hard at the beginning of the race and kept up their momentum throughout.
EHS senior Maddax Iverson runs across the grass during the state tournament where he finished with a final time of 17:25.0. This was Iverson’s fourth straight appearance at the state tournament.
Hannah Malone (1702) and Savannah Harper (1701) run together during the state tournament. Malone finished with a time of 20:32.4 and Harper finished with 20:35.1.
EPHRATA — The Ephrata Tigers cross country team sent six runners to the state tournament at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. While the Tigers didn’t have enough runners to place as a team, Caleb Fitts, Niko Diaz, Maddax Iverson, Hannah Malone, Savannah Harper and Rebecca Wiser each found personal success in their final times.
