Basin football roundup – Week 10

MOSES LAKE – Basin football has wrapped up district play, and a few teams are heading to their respective state tournaments. Over the next couple of weeks, they will compete in a series of win-or-go-home games in the pursuit of a state title. See below which teams advanced and their current record.  

Nov. 6  

The Eagles were defeated in their season finale.  

Soap Lake (2-7) vs. Oroville  

Final Score: 0-54 

The Lions were dominant on the road.  

MLCA (8-2) at Waterville  

Final Score: 60-12 

The Wahluke Warriors fell short at home.  

Wahluke (2-8) vs. Grandview 

Final Score: 6-28 

Nov. 7  

The Cougars were defeated on the road.  

Warden (5-4) at Okanogan  

Final Score: 0-50 

The Knights advanced to the state tournament with a win at home.  

Royal (10-0) vs. King's Way Christian

Final Score: 69-0 

The Almira/Coulee-Hartline Warriors are heading to the state tournament.  

ACH (8-1) vs. Dayton  

Final Score: 53-20 

Nov. 8  

The Broncos were defeated on the road.  

Lind-Ritzville (2-8) at Northwest Christian 

Final Score: 6-35 

The Huskies advanced to the state tournament with a dominant win.  

Othello (9-1) vs. Renton  

Final Score: 48-6 

The Mavericks overcame a tough opponent at home to advance to state.  

Moses Lake (10-0) vs. Issaquah 

Final Score: 49-35 

The Tigers' season came to an end after a loss on the road.  

Ephrata (6-4) at Steilacoom 

Final Score: 14-38
