General election ballots due today
MOSES LAKE – Today is the final day to vote in the 2025 General Election. Ballots are due by 8 p.m. today.
The Washington Secretary of State wants to remind voters to either drop off their ballots at drop boxes or stop by the United States Postal Service to get it postmarked.
“A late postmark could disqualify your ballot,” reads a statement from WA SOS.
WA SOS also wants to remind voters to sign their return envelopes.
“Your county elections office reviews your signature and compares it to your voter registration records. They will contact you if there's a problem with your signature. If you are unable to sign the declaration, make a mark in front of two witnesses and have them sign in the designated spaces,” reads a statement from WA SOS.
As of Monday, at 6 p.m., there are 52,160 registered voters in Grant County, according to the Grant County Auditor's Office. There are 8,624 registered voters in Adams County, according to the Adams County Auditor's Office.
The election will be certified by Nov. 25.
