Louzena Muriel Tebow
Louzena Muriel Wingerd Tebow, what a beautiful name, for a beautiful lady. She was born in Bliss, Idaho, on Dec. 31, 1933.
As a child, she moved with her family to Oregon, California and eventually settled in Kansas. What a free spirit she grew to be! She met a strapping young farmer/rancher, Delbert Tebow, and was smitten with his charm and good looks. After a short courtship, they were married Jan. 7, 1951.
One year later they were baptized in the joy … and fire … of parenthood with Delbert E. Tebow. Their family grew in late 1953 as they welcomed Robert Carl into the fold. They loved and cherished their new baby for four months until he was called to heaven. Later that year, they were blessed with twin boys, Ronnie and Lonnie, and so the adventure began.
In early 1958 they were drawn to the opportunities in the relatively unsettled region of Central Washington. They packed their life into a car and moved to their land of milk and honey. It was in 1960 that their family was completed with the arrival of their daughter, Susan Pearl.
Mom loved being a mother, but she was also very good at being a loyal and devoted friend. She really was blessed with the gift of being a fine human being of the highest order. Her family and friends are undoubtedly better people having known and loved her.
She passed away May 24, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving three boys, eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
