COLUMBIA BASIN — District tournament play has wrapped up and state tournaments will begin later this week. See below how Basin baseball played in the last week and who punched their ticket to state.

May 13

The Cougars were shut out on the road by Okanogan.

Warden at Okanogan

Final Score 0-10

The Huskies were runners-up in the district title game to Selah.

Othello at Selah

Final Score 1-4

The Knights were victorious on the road against the Rangers.

Royal at Naches Valley

Final Score 5-3

May 16

The Mavericks lost in a low-scoring game against the Rams.

Moses Lake at West Valley

Final Score 0-1

May 17

The Cougars were off to a competitive start against the Panthers before rain caused the game to be canceled two innings in. Both teams will move on to state.

River View at Warden

Final Score 6-5

The Huskies were victorious in a crossover game against the Greyhounds. They will move on to state.

Pullman at Othello

Final Score 3-8

The Mavericks pulled off a tight victory over the Wildcats.

Eastmont at Moses Lake
