MLSD meeting addresses gang activity, youth safety
A panel including a law enforcement officer, school officials and a prosecutor sit on a panel to talk about gang activity and prevention in Moses Lake. The Moses Lake School District organized the event in conjunction with several area partners.

Moses Lake Police Department School Resource Officer Ray Lopez said the school and the police department work together accordingly to address issues with students. He said that he and the other SROs build relationships with the students and work with school staff to build comprehensive plans that help lead the student to success.

MOSES LAKE — Community leaders, educators, law enforcement officials and parents gathered at the Moses Lake School District on Tuesday for a discussion on youth safety and gang activity.
