Grant Co. Fairgrounds preparing for busy season
The Columbia Basin Barrel Racing Club will host the Spring Classic 5D Race at the Ardell Pavilion starting at 10 a.m. on May 31. CBBRC is hosting several events at the Grant County Fairgrounds this year and the fairgrounds’ staff have put a great deal of effort into ensuring the facility is top tier for a variety of events.

A couple hits the dance floor at the 2024 annual Senior Picnic. The event is returning this year for the 11th Annual Senior Picnic. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 11 at the commercial building, featuring entertainment, food, giveaways and vendor booths.
An ewe and her lamb enjoy a snack. The sales barn on July 18 and 19 is the place to explore top sheep from the Pacific Northwest at the Northwest Junior Sheep Exposition and Washington State Sheep Producers Ram and Ewe Sale at the Grant County Fairgrounds. There will also be a variety of sheep-related activities happening throughout the weekend.
The Columbia Basin Barrel Racing Club will be hosting its Summer Classic 5D Race July 26 at the Ardell Pavilion. Riders and their horses will race against the clock, turning barrels into a thrilling display of speed and agility.
The Grant County Fair’s 2024 opening ceremony. The fair will return Aug. 12-16. This year will have live music, vendors, carnival rides and more farm animals to admire than one could ever imagine.
Future Farmers of America and 4-H students will return to the Grant County Fairgrounds Aug. 12 to begin showing and competing with their animals. There will be pigs, horses, goats, dogs, sheep, cattle and others for attendees to watch and judges to critique.
’90s Flannel Fest will be returning for another year at the Grant County Fairgrounds. On Oct. 3 and 4, celebrate the iconic sounds of 1990s alternative and grunge music, featuring some of the Northwest’s best tribute bands to the genres.
In a celebration of life through the lens of Dia de los Muertos traditions, the Moravia Festival will be returning for its fourth year. The festival will be on Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Grant County Fairgrounds. This event has an array of family-friendly activities, including live entertainment, interactive children’s crafts and a variety of food vendors showcasing diverse cuisines.
MOSES LAKE — The days are getting warmer and with the Grant County Fair just around the corner, the fairgrounds team is ramping up its preparations.
